I found the recipe!!
KFC Mashed Potatoes
4 min 2 min prep
Change to: servings US Metric
2 1/2 cups idaho potato flakes
1/2 cup margarine
2 tablespoons butter
2 1/2 cups hot water
3/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon salt
1. Heat water add butter and margarine till melted.
2. Add the salt and cook for 2 minutes.
3. Add the flakes and mix till it looks like regular potatoes.
4. Add milk to proper consistency.
5. Serve with gravy.

They are made from dehydrated potato powder and the gravy has a hint of clove in it (that's the unique taste).

I'm not too sure, but they are delicious. I did work at taco bell once, and the refried beans that go in the bean burritos, are brown flakes, they add water to them, then they turn into what you eat...

my boyfriend use to work there and now we don't eat anything out of KFC. you'd be surprised what they do to some of there food. If you want me to i'll ask him when he get in just email me.
