The other night I was sitting on my couch, my front door opened for no reason, I went over to it and no one was there, awhile later the toliet seat slammed yet it was already down, later that night my microwave started for no reason, the timer wasnt going or anything, it just started running, then I heard scratching on the mirror next to my cpu. Remember it all happened in one night while I was home alone. I live in a trailer which I would say is from around the 1960's from the stlye of it. My best guess is this land had some battles on it or an ancient graveyeard. My ancestors, the Cheroke used to live around these parts. Anybody got an idea on this stuff? No stupid and smart *** answers please.

It is possible you have a ghost. I would not worry about them unless they start doing something that's actually dangerous. I know its scary but, most of the time, they (spirits) don't know that they are doing these things. The energy that they produce can cause reactions in electrical appliances etc. If you believe in an afterlife you pretty much have to believe there can be ghosts. Most are harmless and if it does these things while you have other people around that's great because you can document it. There are many people associated with the paranormal that have documented activity. Paranormal is a recognized science.

I think some of these spooks see too many horror flicks Ratman. They seem to think they are so much more than they are. Don't forget, except for the fact that they are no longer bound by three dimensions like we are, they are not much different and just joking clowns sometimes. They get their kicks by making our hair stand on end. Screw that, put your foot down and don't put up with it. Ignore these idiots and pretty soon when they see they can't get your goat, most will stop. Most of 'em just want attention when they should be moving on. Maybe if you ignore them, they will.

It could be a number of things. Do you have or ever had mice in your trailer?.. Are there any pets at home? Was there any drafts or windows open? The next time anything of this kind happens you might want to jot it down and compare it to this event.

It is okay to have an open mind but don't let these things scarey you!

When was it you started living in the trailer? Recently? Long agao? When did the stuff start happening?
If you just moved in - ask your landlord why it was vacant and ask him if anyone else has ever reported oddities like this.
If you have lived there for a while - has someone you loved or known recently passed on?
Could you call your local Catholic Church (even if you are not Catholic) and ask them what to do? Usually (and even if you are not a Catholic) they will come out with holy water, etc and pray and bless the house/dwelling.

You are mentally manifesting your own fears. They are coming out in a physical manner because it is what you 'expect' to happen when you are all alone.
The movies just give your mind something to hold onto and believe. Believe you don't have 'ghosts' and sure enough, all things CAN be explained. ~joni

Yeah, it's possible that you might have a ghost.. but even with ghosts, I don't think ancient Cherokees would be able to figure out how to run microwaves. ;)

No, ghosts aren't real. Everything can be explained.
Stop watching horror films and lose the paranoia!

Sit quietly alone w/ candles lit and talk to them. Eventually you'll get a response if anyone is there.
