(This is a hypothetical question.)

I'm thinking that the perp's death would prevent the child and the family from going through the pain again during the perp's trial. Perp dead=no trial and child+ family can proceed to move forward. What are your thoughts?

Yes,
That might be an excellent way to get rid of these monsters. Child molesters can not be cured, they are about to waste good tax dollars on attempting to rehabilitate people that can not be helped.
I believe it's worse to molest a child than it is to kill someone, and I think suicide will be neat and nicest thing they can do to contribue to our society.

Everyone deserves a trial. For sex acts perform on a child - I don't believe that is a capital offense, but I do believe in chemical castration (male or female). Depending on the degree of the assault - solitary confinement for 5 to 35 years for a first offense. Second offense 15 years to life without parole. Third offense - LIFE in solitary confinement.

It is never ethical to convince someone to commit suicide. So the answer is no.

It reminds me of the Capital Punishment bumper sticker - When will we stop killing people to show people that killing people is wrong?

No, it's not ethical, but neither molesting a child. Hmmmmm...real head-scratcher.

Althought i don't personally care whether he committed suicide or not i do not think it would be ethical to Convince him to commit suicide. No one should try to convince another person that he/she should commit suicide.
