Absolutely!!! You are owned by the Federal government and if you owe taxes they have the right to seize your property without notice and throw your butt behind bars. Sleep well at night?

NO: The IRS is a tax collection agency for the Federal Government. The agency will take you to court and get a search warrant by a judge, to be enforced by a LAW enforcement group. They do not engage is the entering of peoples homes or businesses without extended work before hand.

If IRS is knocking on your door, It is only because you have refused to go to their office and work out the details they are trying to solve.

YES, and they take personal property to sell that which equals the amount you owe them plus interest & fines.

Of course they will not be waking you up in the middle of the night. They go through the legal system and it all works to THEIR advantage.

They probably can't enter your home, but they can probably take it from you if you don't pay your taxes and it would cover what you do owe.
