well, i have a black dog. she's starting to turn old, and is getting some grey hairs. im thinking that if dogs lived longer, they could eventually turn all grey. but of course, dogs and almost every animal dont live as long as humans.

They quite often do. Generally, they don't live long enough to get to a point of all gray fur, but there are cases of various animals going completely gray. An Irish Setter I once owned went completely gray around his muzzle. Found in a rescue situation, we estimated his age to be about 18 at the end. Had he lived longer, I'm sure all his red fur would have certainly followed.

If you've ever had a dog with dark fur you'll see that they do go grey round the muzzle, sometimes white, and around the eyes and ears. All our dogs did. Our cats had too much white on them to see but a darker one we had also showed a few grey hairs around the chin and eyes.

they do go grey. I guess they don't live long enough to go completely white.
I had a 16 year old Pit Bull who was red when he was born.
Before he died his head was completely grey and also from his paws all the way up his fur had turned grey.

particular they do. I went for a walk in the park with my puppy goat Gary and he observed what each and all of the teenage goats at present might call a 'super greater healthful goat'. She substitute into extremely incredibly if I do say so myself. anyhow, while Gary observed her he have been given all shy and he began blushing sooo lots his entire face went crimson and that i in spite of the undeniable fact that there substitute into something incorrect with him!! So I rushed him to wellbeing facility and that they simply observed as me loopy for taking a goat to a wellbeing facility not a vet.

They do. Perhaps not as completely as humans, but they definitely go grey.
