I had sex on the 27th of december and was due for my next period on the 8th of January. I did use a condom and did get my period on the 8th. Then I started getting cramps like 2 weeks after having sex. But I have been having problems with my bowels lately. and my mom and husband both think the cramping is from the bowel problem. I did take a pregnany test 20 days after having sex and it came up no. Then I took another one 12 days after I took the other one and got a negative sign. Do you think I am pregnant. My mom and husband think I am nuts for thinking because i did use a condom. took a test. and i have cramps but they think because of the bowel issue. and plus i have no other symptoms.

1-when "condom babies" are made, it's because the condom broke, had a hole in it to begin with, or because the semen got inside before the condom was put on. You'll know when a condom breaks, believe me. Even if you don't, HE'LL know when a condom has a hole in it. If the semen got inside you before the condom was on, well if you're trying to avoid pregnancy then you should probably stop the naked grinding until after the condom is on.

2-your hubby & mom are probly right. the odds of you being pregnant are slimmer than slim to none, even without you taking a preg. test i would say that.

3-whatever the problem is with your bowels, see a doctor and possibly a nutritionist. yes, pregnant women deal with a lot of cramping, bloating & bowel problems, but so do other women, and it's something you want to get taken care of before it gets worse!

No, I don't think you're pregnant. But you're not crazy for thinking it...even if you used a condom, any form of birth control can fail, and it is possible to have what seems like a normal period and still be pregnant! However, 19 days is the longest it SHOULD take after conception for you to get a positive pregnancy test (5 days that the sperm can live inside you, another 14 for the egg to implant and start producing hcg). Your last test was 32 days after the sex incident, and that's just too long for it to show up. Your period is still normal, and really the only sign you've had is cramping, which could be the bowel issue you've mentioned, or it could have been ovulation. So no worries, this month at least!

It is possible. It does take the body about a month after the time that you think that you got pregnant for the test to come up positive. It does sound as though, if you did get your period after having sex then it isn't really likely that you are. The best thing is to wait until about the 10th of this month and if you still haven't started your period then I would suggest that you take another test and see if it comes out positive. Hope everything turns out.

Sorry to tell you but I think it does sound more like IBS than pregnancy. But don't loose all hope nothing is 100% effective, and I myself have had false pregnancy tests when I was actually pregnant. If you are concerned contact your doctor and make an appointment. Best of luck.

Sounds like IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) to me and the stress could be delaying your period.

It's probably from the bowel movement. But if deep down you feel like your body doesn't feel normal then you should go see your doctor. Remember only you know your body.

Doubtful. You took the followup test long enough after the first that you can be pretty sure it wasn't a false negative. If you're really in doubt, though, take one more test.

I do not think you are pregnant. i think you should visit a doctor if possible. get a blood test run to make sure your not pregnant and find out about your bowl problems.
