Wife wants thongs in Iraq?

Ok my wife is currently in iraq. She has been there for 10 months so far. The other day she asked me to send her some civilian clothes because she was going on R/R in baghdad. She ask me to send her thongs. I don't know how to take this. I think women wear thongs to have them seen by someone. Is she cheating on me? I also found an email from her to her freind saying how this guys there was hot and that he feels the same way about her. she says she told him that she was married and that he respects that. What do I do??

No, women don't wear thongs just to show them off. Some may but the vast majority of women thing that it’s sluty to do so. Like other's have said, panty lines are a big reason as to why some women wear thongs. But a lot do it for comfort. Some just prefer thongs over panties. I've been with girls that all they ever wore were thongs. It's just an underwear, that's all! Nothing more and nothing less!

You are taking the two pieces of evidence that you have and jumping to conclusions. First, don't forget that if your woman wanted to cheat on you, she doesn't need a thong to do so. She asked you to send her thongs because may be she likes them better and/or doesn’t want to walk around with panty lines. Something that a lot of guys find sexy. I don’t know about you, but I myself have seen panties lines on some girls’ butts that turned me on. I’ve talked to other guys and they have told me the same.

Second, in her e-mail, she said that she thought that the guy was hot, but she also said that he (the guy) knew that she was married and that he respected that. The fact that you wife saw some guy and found him "hot", it dose not mean that she's cheating on you. Think about it. How many times have you seen a girl and thought that she was pretty hot? Are you going to tell me that not once? You and I know better than that.

Just because she married you, it doesn't mean that she went blind the moment you put the ring on her finger. She saw a guy and she thinks his hot. So what? Like I said before, you have done it too and there's a huge difference between appreciating someone's good looks and cheating with them.

Relax and talk with her about your feelings but don't accuse or insinuate that she's cheating. It will only cause conflicts between the two of you. And if she was thinking about cheating, that may be the thing to push her over the edge. Talk to her about the way YOU feel. I would ask her. Would be a hard thing to be away for 10 months. People get lonely and it is a stressful time over there. If she is wanting sexy panties and it is not the norm I would suspect something is going on. She may also be dressing up and don't want panty lines to show.

I would also be worried about the email. Its normal for her to think guys are attractive BUT its a little to close for comfort when she knows he feels the same way. Sounds like your wife might be getting a little too close for comfort.

Ask her plan out if she is think about cheating. You trusted her enough to marry her.

Women don't wear thongs for them to be seen. They wear them because they don't create panty lines and therefore your clothes look better. Also, if you are used to wearing thongs regular panties feel uncomfortable.

Now, you might need to address the email situation with her, but as far as her underwear choice goes I think that's her personal decision. She doesn't choose your underwear does she?

And if she's going to cheat on you she's going not going to be wearing any under garments at all so don't bother worrying about what panties she has on.

She shouldn't be telling you things like that! How inconsiderate and disrespectful! I would never ask my husband to send thongs or g-strings! I only wear thongs since I don't like panty lines, but in BDU's? I don't think your lines would show in military dress! I'd ask her why, if she has more underwear, you might want to send those to her, but leave the sexy ones at home. You're still being considerate, just sending her the not too sexy undies! Take care.

well that is pretty unnerving. Have you asked her why she would want thongs? Maybe she really is talking about footwear. Send her the footwear and see if she gets upset and when she does ask her what she needs that kind of underwear for. Shes married and she dont need to be showing that kind of stuff to anyone but her husband. I also dont understand how everyone on here is saying that they are comfotable. What the hell is wrong with you? Those things go up your ***-crack, how is that comfortable for extended periods of time?

Some women prefer thongs for practical reasons. You don't have panty lines showing through your clothes when you wear them. Send her her underwear and ask her straight up about the guy. She will probably be pissed that you were reading her mail.

Send her an ugly, pratical thong. Like a plain cotton one that you would not want people too see but would be practical. If she complains that she wants a nicer looking one, something sexier, then I think you have your answer. Good luck! :)
