i want it to be appealing i am good with html but i dont know what provider to choose i saw some of go daddys and other people and the sites are like cheap

The above website is a good free website creator. I have used it and its simple to use. It provides a very good starting point and offers even more if you eventually pay for an upgrade. Compared to other free website creators it is very generous. Have a look.

The main thing to making a website that is appealing is how hard you are willing to work at it and your own taste. The sites that you don't care for may well be very appealing to those you made them.
Choose a topic that you are passionate about so you will have fun working on your site. You can be as particular about the look and feel of your site as you want. Keep working on it until it is how you want it. Continue adding more pages and tweaking the site until it appeals to you.
Spend some time researching how to choose the keywords you select for your site as this will determine how successful you are in building traffic to your site. You do want people to be able to find your site.

Well the site itself has nothing to do with the providor your choose... the HTML used to create the page is all that counts in making it look cool or not..... I have made killer pages on Geocities as well as my own personal space connected to my online service... Its all about your own creativity and how much time and effort you want to spend on the site... I would suggest surfing around for ideas on layout of the site and then examine that sites HTML.... Another Easy thing to add to a site to spiff it up is always Java Scripts.... as well as CSS cacading Style sheet for those that want there sites to look uniform... i again would suggest fishing for ideas then looking at that sites html ...hope that helps

From what you said, you probably dont like myspace but i recommend it becuase you can do practically anything on it and design it ANY way you want to, and also add friends.
