1 watt (the international standard measurement for energy) X 746 = 1 horsepower (an archaic standard for measuring energy based on how much energy it takes a horse to lift a standard load.

A 1900 Watt Hair dryer uses 2.5469 horsepower.
A 3.5 horsepower engine uses 2611 watts.

1 horsepower is 746 watts (about, there are a few different kinds of "horsepower").

So:
2 hp = 1492 W
3 hp = 2238 W
etc.
