Claire's Dad on Heroes?

OKay, so on Monday's episode, we saw Claire's mom. But then in the scenes for next week- they say "wait till you meet Claire's Daddy" and just show an arm...leading me to believe that it's someone we already know...who do you think it is?

I know right!! I thought maybe it was her adpoted dad... and my husband (like he knows everything) is like no way. My best friend thinks it Nathan...you know how those politicans like to cheat...and he did cheat with Nikki.. YIKES! I can't wait!!! =) Thanks guys!

are not on the list or if they are it is not visible or they are using fake names .

The clues to finding the father are that he has to have been near Kermit Texas in 1990. He has to be caucasian and dress in a business shirt with a stylish watch and a college ring on their left hand making the argument that he is now married. It aslo makes the argument that it is not Nathan who wears his ring on the right hand. He also may have the last name Gordon, as in Meredith Gordon, her mother.

Everyone is thinking it is Nathan but that makes no sense given his astonishment when he flew out of his car that night he and his wife were attacked by Linderman and she wound up crippled.

It is more likely to be Bennett given he was supposedly able to have talked to Meredith when Claire was sick as a child. That comes from a discussion with Sandra, her adoptive mother.

I am hoping it is someone else on the list as Bennett would make for a lousy plot twist, especially since he is about to be attacked by Sylar on route to Claire. That being stated it doesn't seem likelt that he would be on the other side of that phone call.

There is always the possibility that her father is Linderman and they fake her death to keep him from knowing she exists. It could be a twisted attempt to bring Star Wars into this show. She may be the only one capable of taking down her father.

At any rate there are a whole bunch of names and options. Enjoy thinking about this

Clair's dad used to work for "The Company" an organization that was started by a handful of people with powers and is made up of people with powers and without. 'The Company' was supposed to find everyone with powers and assess whether they were a threat to society or not and deal with them accordingly. "The Company" was also involved in a plot to allow the destruction of half of New York for the purpose of setting up a puppet president to further their ends. Claire's father, in hopes of protecting his adopted daughter, who is one of the "Heros", "quit" The Company and now the family is in hiding. There is an element of dichotomy in that Claire used to want a "normal life" and to "fit in" and now she wants to exhibit her abilities as opposed to feeling like she had "her own private freak show" (in her words). Basically Claire's dad used to look like the bad guy but now seems like he isn't so bad. He just wants what is best for his family, and to take down "The Company"

From what is shown on the clip, if it is someone already on the show, it could be Nathan Patrelli or her step-dad. Yes it is true that politicians cheat, but every time Mr. Bennett talks about Claire he always seem to get emotional.

Actually I could really care less.

I think they've already done too much by making Claire's mom a pyro. It's like, geez, enough already! Why not just make everybody a super and be done with it?

I do like the way their making Micah's character (the cyberpath kid with power over machines) more central to the storyline.

It's her best friend. Sick, I know.. but Hiro helped him travel in the past to impregnate her mother. The reason that Claire has the mutant abilities is because their genes were screwed up by time travel in one way or another. That is why Hiro is the most important character.

I think it is a completely new character. If you think back to last week, they said the same thing about the mom, and they didn't show her. Out of the current cast, I'd say "HRG" (current adopted dad) is most likely.

Its definitly somebody already in the show, I think its Nathan Patrelli, his name comes from the word padre which means father, but if you go on this, it could be his brother as well and he just left new york. I also think it couild be hiros dada as well, but that wouldnt be all that shocking, they could do better.
