I have no personal experience here, but I have read various stories with numbers anywhere from the thousands to the tens of thousands. Try to find an attorney who specializes in adoptions - do not trust any agency to handle it without an attorney involved.

I've only known one couple who have adopted. They adopted two baby girls from China. If I can remember correctly, the cost was about $50,000 per kid. Not sure what the rates are for other countries, though. Good luck and God bless :-)

ignore that first answer if it were so easy to adopt american, more people would. anyway.. it really depends on the country you are adopting from it can range from 15,000 - 30,000. theres a 10,600 $ tax credit you can claim the next year tho :)

I agree with the first answer there are so many children in the US that need homes..... People need to stop worrying so much about the other parts of the world and worry about right here at home....

INTERNATIONAL? with all the children in the U.S. waiting for someone to love them? think AMERICAN first, then worry about the cost....
