I don't know what to tell you other than GET A NEW DOCTOR RIGHT AWAY...I don't know what kind of quack you are seeing now..but that is the craziest thing I have ever heard. Not helping you? You should have at least 3 to 4 periods a year to be healthy..they no longer think women need to have a monthly cycle...but to stop altogether abruptly and not have one for almost a year? Not good. GO SEE ANOTHER DOCTOR! Good luck..please don't just ignore the problem or trust this doctor just because you are familiar with them.

Not investigating this until your 25 seems a bit daft to me. Periods should return within 6 months of stopping the pill. Being underweight, stressed, over exercising, taking drugs, and pregnancy can all stop your periods. If it is none of those things it is likely polycystic ovary syndrome or related to your hormones. It would cost your GP very little to do some basic tests and possibly refer you to a community gynaecologist.
Also white discharge can be normal for some women. It can be a sign of an STI but if you've had it since before you were sexually active then it is probably nothing to worry about.

A friend of mine had the same problem. The doctors were sure what caused her not to have her periods. They were sure if it was stress levels (she was having family problems) or the fact that her diet wasn't all that good (she was slightly underweight). A few months after all these tests, change of diet and counselling she got it back.

Regardless see another doctor and get tests now.

Get a new doctor. Sounds like he is a old doctor that uses old practices. Never trust your health and maybe even your life with one doctor. Get a second opinion.

Firstly, get a new doctor.

Secondly, the white discharge is perfectly normal. The vagina uses it to clean itself.

You need to find a new doctor. There may be something going on that he does not care enough to check on.

Definitely see another doctor.

Fire your doctor and find one who actually cares about his/her patients. This one doesn't.

When you have found another doctor, file a formal complaint with your local medical licensing board about this idiot.
