??? Why do people not like you? Is that what you are asking?
I don't think being a boy would have anything to do with people liking you.
Have people told you that they do not like you? Try being friends with people that have similar interests.

But seriously...not everyone will like all people. I can only say...be yourself and the people that do like you for you will be real friends.

Maybe you up set someone and that person is getting back at you by spreading rumors.we are on the same end. my own friends have doubt of being with me because of a silly rumor that isn't true for god sake!!!say your sorry to her or him before its to late.My worst enemy was once my close friend.good luck!!on facing them

maybe they do, but because you're shy you kind of seem distant and snobby like you don't like them.
be more outgoing, take risks. you'll never know unless you try, right?
also don't talk behind people's backs, be honest, be yourself, be nice, don't be rude, admit your mistakes. stuff like that, i'm sure there are TONS of people who want to get to know you. Give em' a chance! :)
