I am transferring colleges in the fall....this one is AWAY from home. To purchase the things needed is way out of my budget and i was wondering if it was acceptable to have a "dorm shower"---similar to a baby shower......wat do u think?

For a second I thought you meant a shower that everyone in the dorm used at once.

That would be really hot.

I think it would be perfectly acceptable to have a "dorm shower."

I'll come if you invite me.

I think it would be more like a "moving away from home" party!!

try WALMART, Big Lots, Target, Ross, T J Maxx...

I would check with your soon-to-be Roommate... Half the time, they come with half of what you need... you don't want to have two of everything... Except for your essentials, ie. soap, shampoo, etc...
