$300 should be good, if you have added grocerys and gas for your car in with your mandatory bills. Sometimes when I got done paying bills I had enough just left over for gas and food. You want to make sure that you can put at least $25 to $50 in savings every check so if something like an emergency happens you will have extra money. Trust me you don't want to live paycheck to paycheck.

Of course you can survive. you can **survive** on almost nothing if you dress up very warm and eat beans on toast an awful lot.

There are MANY people would LOVE to have as much money as this left over at the end of the Month - a lot of people are down to a few pounds / dollars - or worse - dip a little further into debt each month.

So, yes, you can survive - perhaps not as lavishly as you might like, but not exactly "life threatening".

Easy. Just adjust your expectations to match your budget. 90 percent of the world's population exists on less.

Daycare would wipe all that out for me, but I think would be included in the bills.

I would have to decrease my spending to spend less than $735/month, but I think it would be possible.

it's possible.................depending on your lifestyle and habits. I maintained on just $200 extra a month and that had to include food and gas for traveling back and forth to 2 jobs and school.
