is there any medical reason why we have to wait to try to conceive after a miscarraige at 6 weeks?

yes, risk of infection especially if you had to have a d&c with your miscarriage.
Not to mention what ever the reason for your miscarriage may not be out of your body, so it could happen again.
You need to wait make sure you have healed and your body is back on track before you try again, just to ensure a healthy pregnancy.

I am no doctor, but i would think it would be for your body to heal from the miscarraige. wait til the doctor says it is okay to conceive and try again, a baby is totally worth the wait. You wouldn't want to go thru it again ( a miscarriage that is)

It is entirely how you feel, if you feel up to it, go ahead. I had 3 pregnancies in a year, the first two were miscarriages, the third time i fell pregnant was 8 weeks after the 2nd miscarriage and i had a healthy baby, who is now 16 month old! Good luck! x

I believe it is usually recommended that you wait at least until you have one normal period after a miscarriage to try to conceive again.
Also, it is a good idea to make sure you and your partner are emotionally ready before starting to re-try.

yes. Your body needs to time to repair what damage existed from the first miscarriage. I did not wait once and lost a second baby. Better to wait than to lose two.

Go for it! I did after one normal cycle after my mc and d&c. I ended up with a sweet baby boy. Make sure that you're taking your vitamins and that you're eating well. There is light at the end of the tunnell I promise!!!

Your body is still recovering and going back to normal hormone levels. I am sure it is entitrely possible that you could get pregnant again but I thought it took at least 3 months before your cycle and everything came back to nomal
