It's been awhile, but my grandpa had a catfish pond and we used to fish on summer evenings. Catfish fight like the dickens and it's so fun to reel them in.

Yes, they can slice you with those nasty fins. My dad taught me how to hold them to keep that from happening. They make noises, too, when you pull them off the hook.

Yes! I love fishing. We go in late spring, when the nights are cool, but not so cold that you can't sit by the bank and fish. I prefer fishing at night, obviously.

Yeah, they are fun to catch, but they are not fun to unhook. Those stingers hurt enough to make a grown man cry.

hundreds...used to tightline for them on my gandmas pond...big blues and channels.. also drift fish for them on Grand Lake OK also have caught 2 on crankbaits.
