The sun rising over Caddo Lake with the mist rising off the lake. It was almost like you were watching the beginning of time.

One winter during a long cold Inversion the valley I lived in was fogged over for days. The trees looked beautiful because they were frost covered. However, everything was gray and depressing. So we made a trip into the mountains and drove above the inversion. We stopped on a peak and looked back over the valley. The sun was shining and felt great. The valley was the most spectacular thing I saw. The valley was blankets in a white fluffy clouds and you could see for miles. The different mountains tops poking above the clouds was awesome. It was truly awe inspiring moment.

Many Years ago, when my father was still alive and I was a young man, going out at 5 am in the morning on the pontoon boat, and hooking a large mouth bass and then watching the morning sun gleam off its scales as it jumps into the air, performing that dance of the ages, the hunter and the hunted. There's nothing like getting a fish to eat with your own two hands...

The 'fire in the sky' John Denver talked about in Rocky Mt. High. The most awesome thing I have ever seen is a meteor shower that seemed so close you could almost reach up and grab one or feel like you have to duck to keep them from hitting you. It's beautiful and nothing else compares.

I was sitting by a lake once and when I stood up and turned around there was a bald eagle sitting on a branch just 10 feet away from me. We stared at each other for a few minutes and then he slowly unfolded his wings and flew right over my head and over the lake. Very majestic. And large.

I am single mother and my children's father is not involved in their lives at all. One day I was driving through a residential area and I saw a man playing baseball with a 5 or 6 year old boy in the front yard. It was so simple yet so beautiful. I guess it was just a foreign sight to me. lol

The sun setting on a partly cloudy day on the Pacific, with the sun shining through in places on the sea, hard to describe in words but it was quite beautiful.
