i think i broke my wrist what should i do????

i was messing around 2 dayz ago and my friend slammed my wrist in the door 5 times as hard as she could now my wrist in numb and tengaly my peanky finger is swollen and my wrist hurts to move plaese help me

my mom won't take me cuz my friend did it

im only 13 and i can't stand the pain

im typing with one hand people

Call social services and report your mother, she should be jailed.
Go to the hospital yourself and tell them your mother wouldn't take you.
Call an ambulance and tell them your mother won't take you for treatment.

By the way, cut the friend out of your life.

Wait are you saying your mom won't take you to the Dr when you think you've broken your wrist? Are you a kid? If so this is child neglect. You need to get to a Dr and you need to do it now. If you're a kid tell a teacher or go to your school's health room. Tell them what happened, the symptoms you have and that your mom refuses to take you to a Dr. They'll call you an ambulance and get it taken care of.

In the mean time, take a elastic bandage, like an Ace bandage, and wrap your wrist up so it won't move. If it's broken this will help keep it from getting any worse until you can get to a dr for a cast.

If two days after it happened you still think your wrist might be broken, you need to schedule a doctor's appointment as soon as possible. If you tell them you think your wrist might be broken, I'm sure they will see you right away. I would advise against going to the emergency room, as this can be extremely expensive.

In the mean time, try moving your wrist as little as possible. Type with your other hand if you must use a computer. Ice can help with the swelling, and tylenol or ibuprofen can help with the pain. But definitely don't delay in going to the doctor, or your injury could become much worse.

ok, here's what you want to do. Why don't you take some painkillers. Maybe even a benodryll, to sleep. Cause you need to sleep. And yell and scream, do what ever humanly possible to get your mom to take you to the hospital. until then, I would try ice, to get the swelling down. At the hospital, make sure you're looked at fast. Too much swelling, for TWO DAYS??? that can be very dangerous. Your wrist is probably broken. Be strong and good luck, ur freaking brave.

There is absolutely no way you have a broken wrist for 2 days and you are not in agony and you're able to type. You might have fractured it, though I doubt it as well. Anyways, go to the doctor and have him take a look at it. That's about it.

And don't move something that hurts...

As for all the other advices I read (about marrow infections etc...) oh dear... No worries...

Get off the computer and go to the ER! If you don't get that wrist taken care of, you could have permanent damage.

Go see the school nurse tomorrow and tell her your mother won't take you for treatment.

If you broke your wrist i doubt you'd be in any shape to type. Could have fractured it or something though. Go see a doctor.

alrite, call 911 if ur ma wont take u, becuz ur wrist will develop infection if it is not properly treated. then file a lawsuit against ur "friend" and then she'll have to pay for ur wrist. then hire people to kill her with the money you made. hey, its a hard knock life. do u have a gun permit?

I thought about this long and hard and came up with the solution: Go to the ER and have it X-rayed.
