I believe in time he will fit in. It's hard to tell with him having probably 5 minutes of air time at the end of the show to get a feel for him yet. I've liked him in the past on other shows so I'm sure he'll do great on hero's. He could be the reason that his son doesn't have his powers now. I'm sure we'll find out the reason he's there next week. I can't wait.................

I think he has come to take Hiro home. Hiro left his job and country and that would most likely seem like he dishonored his family.
I don't know that he would have abilities. All of the "Heroes" families haven't exhibited abilities. Nikki's father didn't show any and neither has Peter and Nathan's mother. The only ones shown to have abilities that are blood relations are Nikki and DL's son, Claire's biological mother and Peter and Nathan.
I don't know that Hiro's father will have ties to Linderman or if he IS Linderman (since he has never been seen) but after seeing the trouble he went through to track down Hiro, you know he has money.
And not all actors have to look like each other to play relatives. There aren't THAT many people who look alike out there.
I think that Claire's biological father is actually her adoptive father.

He is apparently a very well off business man who has ties to Linderman in the same way Mohinder's girlfriend who offered Mohinder a job has ties to Linderman. It is doubtful he has a relationship to him but it does seem coincidental that the symbole on the sword and everybody else for that matter is an oriental symbol. Nobody has ever seen Linderman so he/ she could be any age and any nationality. Who knows?

The series is REALLY starting to annoy me now.
I thought what made the supers so special is that no one else around them had powers. Now they're making family members and whatnot come out with powers?
That sucks. They need to get better writers, and for pity's sake get rid of all the subplots running all over the place. You need a score card just to keep track of what's going on.

George played a popular character on Star Trek many years ago so you couldn't ask for anybody better to play Hiro's dad! How many of us actually look like our parents? It may be Hiro takes after his mom....who knows? In any case, it's gonna be fun to see how the storyline with Hiro and his dad develops!

Oooh, good question!! I think he's very powerful, and bad. He has people working for him, so he's planning something.Well, of course he is- he kidnapped his son to prevent him from saving the world. I think he's a bad hero. But I do think he has a super power....I just don't know what? Maybe is he partially behind destroying New York?
