Loads of speculation Harry Potter is going to die I think its just everyone going into panic why bother writing about him if JK Rowling was going to kill him off.
What do you think?

I know what you mean ,but JK Rowling does seem to have a mean streak.
i hope he doesn't hes had a terrible life with his Aunt and Uncle and then if he dies how bad is that.
I just want him to live a long and happy life.

Even if he doesn't die, it has been decided that there will only be 7 books from the beginning. No matter how much the pressure or how tempting the money, she's not going to make another one even if Harry stays alive. Get with it already!

she can do what she wants - he's 100% her creation and property!
killing off your main character is your best way of putting something to bed - witness Inspector Morse. If Harry dies, JKR can't be cajoled into writing book 8, unless she does a Bobby Ewing, which would be too cheesy
Still, I don't think she'll kill him. I reckon she likes him too much. McGonagall on the other hand - she's toast. With marmite.

I very much doubt Harry will die. Don't forget, these are children's books, and I don't think JK Rowling would do that to kids. He'll probably be made the new headmaster of Hogwarts, or something like that.

Her final installment of the series is coming out in July so this means there is the possibility that Harry won't make it because she is no longer going to be writing about him.

I would jump up and down for joy! I hope he does i think that would be cool to watch and it'd make me happy! Then will that be the end of Harry Potter? :)

JK said in an interview with richard and judy (yeah its sad but i did watch it) that she may kill him off so she wasnt pressured into writing more than 7 books which was her original plan.

I think he will die because this is my explanation and it would be a great ending.
Voldemort split his soul right?
Harry is one of his souls split.
To kill voldemort,
harry must kill himself
and that goes back to why voldemort couldn't kill harry
it would be like killing himself.

No, I don't think she will kill him off. Its all about good versus evil and good will prevail. I don't think JK can put her readers through too much trauma. I cried when Cedric died at the end of Goblet of Fire - I will need counselling if Harry pops his clogs too! Hagrid on the other hand....his days are numbered

There has to at least be an end to the story, even if it might involve Potter's death. Every story needs an ending.
