Electing a Muslim man would be the stupidest thing this country could do (yes, I believe Obama is still Muslim). That would be akin to electing a KGB spy in the middle of the Cold War. Until Muslim Americans are willing to denounce their terrorists counterparts and quit trying to blame U.S. policy for 9-11 (much less having some harebrained conspiracy theory about it) then they are bringing mistrust on themselves. Besides being a false religion, Islam is a dangerous religion.

what do you mean embrace and what part of islam the many who think all non muslims must die or the few who have actually read the koran? of course he will not get elected either way but as a representative of a secular nation i would hope he would recognise that his religous beliefs (which i believe to be cristian) should be private and not effect our laws

why are you already wanting him to accept some form of religion? isn't it religion that got us into this mess in the first place. can any person be free from religion? people already want to put him in a group, so what, people can criticize him. give people something to talk about. i hope he embraces love and peace, before any religion. to have love for your neighbor is the greatest religion one can have.

Are you daft? The government should be secular AND no-partisan. Most religious beliefs go against the spirit of the constitution.

You know he claims to be a Christian, right? I don't think he really is. I think he's just saying it for political reasons or whatever. Why don't you try to reconvert him to Islam?
I wonder what happens to Muslims that abandon the faith?
