I live in the south. I am looking to put grass seed down soon. I dont know what kind of grass is down now. Just moved in a couple months ago. What kind of grass should I plant to have a good looking yard? Yard doesnt have shade in front.

That depends on many other factors than you've mentioned. Try http://www.scotts.com and use their product guide to help with your selection. If there's a Southern States Cooperative in your area, the people there are generally knowledgable and they have good seed.

I would get a good bermuda seed. If you have shaded areas, you might want to go with St. Augustine. That only comes in sod.
Either one is good for the south. I'm in Texas and have both.

Bermuda or St Augustine the ground will need to be warm (above 60F) in ordr for it to germinate.

i used CIL and it works great after planting i seen results in about a week, you can get it at any hardware store.
