Be prepared to pay extra for that safety. I live in the Memorial area (west side) and it is quite expensive to live here, even for a condo.

P.S. The Woodlands is actually more like a half hour to 45 minutes north of downtown Houston.

North... the woodlands. Very quiet and comfortable. My cousin got married and bought a house in that area. Now if you want nice rowdy neighbors try over by 1960 and 45.

Quite a few but the nicest are out in the suburbs such as Katy and Sugar Land.

well my best friend lives in the woodlands, tx
which is like 5 minutes (or less away from houston)

she really likes it there
and her school
she has a neighbor with a cute dog (like that helps)
she made a cute christmas card in houston with a western background - it ws cute too

thats not really IN houston, but.........
