The amount of pregnancy hormone in your body doubles every couple of days, the longer you wait, the more accurate your pregnancy test will be.
Most tests are not accurate until after you miss your period. The First Response pregnancy test can test 4 days before your missed period but is not as accurate as waiting until afterwards. If you had sex a couple days before your period started and then just missed your period it is not likely you are pregnant because ovulation does not usually occur that close to your period. If you are worried about it then take a test, it'll at least put your mind at ease. You also may need to see a doctor.

There are a couple of kinds of pregnancy tests (I believe it is EPT) that allows you to test within seven days of your having sex. I, however, wouldn't recommend doing it until you have missed your period. To me, it is just no that accurate. I had taken a pregnancy test once using one of those advertised pregnancy tests, and it came back negative; however, when I missed my period the following month, I took another one, and it came back positive. Yep, not as accurate as you think.
Your ovulation period is usually 14 days after the first day of your last period. Some people ovulate for 24 to 72 hours. If you are trying to get pregnant, have sex a day or two before your scheduled ovulation. There are also tests out there that tell you if you are ovulating or not.

No,thats too soon. wait at least 2 weeks, sometimes longer...Whenever your period is due take a test 4 days before that date and u should get a positive result if u are pregnant..First response early detection and Answer early detection are good tests.., the first response is a little more expensive *2 tests for almost 20.00* i bought the answer test that came with 2 for 11.00
its good to get the test that comes with two so u can test 3 days after your first test was taken to make sure the results are accurate...good luck!

Its safe to take a test anytime. It won't explode or anything. However you will not have enough hormone until about 2 weeks past conception for it to show on a pregnancy test so if you take before you will just be wasting money.

You can take a test whenever you want...but its a waste of money. Your body starts producing HCG (the pregnancy hormone ) after your period is due if you are pregnant. Best bet would be to wait for a few days after your period is due. It will save you money on tests that way.

It is always "safe" to take a pregnancy test! It isn't going to show positive in 4 days though. You need to wait at least until your closer to your expected period.

I think it is way too soon to take a pregnancy test. You should probably wait until you miss your period.

Way too early to test for sure. You would have to wait AT LEAST until Feb. 11th to get even a faint line of a positive result. I know it's hard to wait, but it'll get here.
