Each woman's body is different- just because a majority fit into the scope of what has been described as normal doesn't mean that everything falling outside of that scope is immediately something terrible. The reasons for it could be endless. First get yourself checked by a doctor (chances are that they'll do an ultrasound). If there is nothing wrong with you then it could be either stress, heavy physical training, swinging hormone levels that lead to learn to level themselves out or simply that's how your body has set itself up for you.

I'm sure it isn't a sign that you won't be able to have children later on. I haven't heard of it manifesting itself like this before. Though it could be an indicator of something else.

But don't worry. First see a doctor.

Many girls experience irregular periods around that age. My wife (girlfriend at the time) experienced this problem, but birth control pills are used to regulate the situation. You can talk to your doctor.

It's not normal, 5 months without your period is not normal, you need to see your doctor, there's some hormonal imbalance there.... as soon as you fix it, everything's going back to normal.

Yes it's normal if you are extremely physically active i.e. training for triathlons, athletics of gymnastics.
