..........a bunch of leftover spicy chicken strips from the cafeteria at the local elementary school, where they were a cook?
I just had this dude come in to pick up a refund check....and he brought me a bunch of them......and a chef's salad, too! : )

Not that but I did have a customer send me a christmas present for me and my son when I helped him get a rebate that he though he would never get. It was very sweet.

I used to work at a bank and was in customer service. Once I had an older couple that I helped with an IRA bring me some home made cookies. And there was a gentleman that I helped close out his mother's accounts because she had passed away and he brought me a little plant.
Congratulations! I'm sure you did something very sweet or kind and this gentleman will probably remember you for a very long time!

We had a game going on at a store I used to work at and the customers had tickets to punch and were able to win anywhere from $1 to $1000. We had two top winners. The first one was very generous and bought pizzas for all the store employees. She was from one of the richest families in our town. The other guy that won was just so overwhelmed, I think, and he probably needed the money more than the first one did, and he just took it and split. We didn't blame him though.

on the side i teach music and this little boy once gave me a hand made card saying i was wice (nice) and goody at teaching. ahh he was so cute. then he gave me the real presie, mmm, chocolate
