I can't decide if I should let him or not. He knows his place is in the kitchen and Sunday is usually the day he makes us a nice big meal. Should I let him skip it this one time? Or tell him it will be okay, as long as he gets his chores done first? Thank you for looking.

You gotta be kidding right? You shouldn't have to let him watch the damn game. He should be able to watch it without your permission. Why don't you try doing some chores.

Seriously, give the guy a break! It's a once in a year event, and I am sure he is really looking forward to it. Why would you want to take that away from him? Wouldn't you like a day off if some important even was happening that you wanted to watch/attend?

More than likely his favorite team is not playing. With that being the case he needs to stick to the routine and make Super Bowl dinner on Sunday.

Cut him some slack and let him watch it. Then make him cook both Saturday and Sunday the following weekend.

Is this a joke? It is the Superbowl, definitely let him and try to enjoy watching the game with him.

Well the second one is better. Tell him to watch it but do the chores first. Just let him get away with it and maybe let him do something for you and your family later on in the week..

Have a good day and you are welcome.
