I agree that the Cancer and the Pisces are very good matches for the Scorpio talking about relationships but I disagree with miketheirishwolf that with the Taurus it doesn't work out. Being a Taurus and a friend of many Scorpios I can say we are a good match for friends because we are tolerant and trying to understand each other. The Scorpio is comfortable with honest people but also with people that won't hurt his/her dignity and pride. Of course it is much different when talking about friendship and when talking about relationship but the Taurus won't really offend the Scorpio and won't make him/her to revenge. The Scorpios are loyal people and they want loyalty in return which the Taurus can offer. When interacting Taurus and Scorpio they can learn many things from each other. The Taurus can learn to be more open-minded and less worried while the Scorpio can learn to forgive and to forget.

When the Cancer and the Scorpio interact there would be much and intense feelings which they will be happy to share. The Cancer gives emotional security and the Scorpio appreciates it. The Scorpio provides solid base for comfortable feeling to them both to which the Cancer answers with understanding.

When the Pieces and the Scorpio are together they will form a union of agreement and the Pisces will often compromise and that would suit the Scorpio needs.

Sometimes Scorpio and Capricorn become good match because of the material security they could obtain when they are in a team.

Libra is also a possible match for the Scorpios but they will find misunderstanding often and most they will be attracted to each other rather than to suit their inner peace.

There's no better match for Scorpio than Pisces. Pisces matches Scorpio's capacity for passion and is largely tolerant of Scorpio's moodiness. In return, Scorpio is capable of giving Pisces the undying loyalty they crave; no one is more devoted than Scorpio, and no one responds in kind better than Pisces.
Cancer may work with Scorpio as well, but I am thinking there may be bit too much gloom with two moody and rather touchy individuals.
