How do you get off that surgery goop they put on you to clean the area? I had surgery on my hand and that stuff is all in my fingernails. I can't fully wash my hands due to stiches and I've tried hydrogen peroxide, rubbing alcohol, soap, lotion...it's all in my fingernails, cuticles...

You can buy adhesive remover strips over the counter. Kinda like alcohol pads...they work good getting that stuff. I work as a nurse on a post-surgical floor...we use it all the time.

that brown stuff is just betadine- it's unsightly but not dangerous. try using purell to get it off.

I used toothpaste on an old toothbrush and it worked great!!!!
I still do to this day........

it is going to have to wear off ....nothing will take it off
