I have a housemate who i've known my whole life, freshman yr in college was my roomate, had an uknown problem with me then finally confronted me an entire year later. I had no idea. Now she is just the biggest *****. Her best friend was my only friend in highschool who i love. Her boyfriend and my fiance have been bestfriends since elementary school. She constantly is a ***** to both me and my fiance, usually behind everyones back. She is not mean to anyone else, in fact everyone i know loves her. She is absolutely sweet to everyone. I just don't know what to do. I can't move out, and i'm not good at confrontation. She is an amazing arguer and she never loses anything, always has to be the winner. She has an extrordinary memory and you can not escape anything you have done in the past. Once i get home i immediatley go to my bedroom so i'm not interfering, now my finace driving 100 miles to surprise me is a problem for her, what do I do? She says that we are interferring with her life.

Sounds like your "roomie" has some serious issues.

It also sounds like she's jealous of your success as far as having a fiancee` that is not her. Simply put, you found love, and she probably didn't. That's her loss, right? If she's that disrespectful to you, why are you bowing to it? If that was me, I would be in her face every chance I had, even if the battle was an uphill one. Seems to me that you need to find someone who can speak on your behalf. AKA, a "Mouthpiece." Even I know that every arguer has a chink in their armor. She may be amazing, but she IS NOT Unstoppable.

I know you can beat her in one argument, even if she won one million of them. All it takes is one victory, and her perfect record will crumble and fall.

Have nothing to do with her. Ignore her at every opportunity, and when your lease is up, move out. When you're both in the same room and she starts in on you, just keep what you're doing- don't say a word, don't even acknowledge that she's ssaying anything. In fact, i'd start carrying around my I-pod, so when she opens her mouth, your earpieces go in.

ANd it's your home, too. If she doesn't like your boyfriend driving so long to see you, throw her an air mattress and tell her the front lawn is mighty comfy. Unless there was a written agreement between you two, then there's nothing she can do.

As for everything else, tell her that she needs some psychotherapy.

Well, it sounds to me like it's time to move on why put yourself in a hostile situation like this. If you know you are going to lose before you even start talking with her to find out what the problem is ...then it makes no sense to even try. Sometimes in life it's just easier to walk away from nasty people. BUT, always remember what goes around comes around. When you move on other doors in life have a way of opening up. Good luck sweetie.

Move out and discontinue the relationship with Ogre girl. She sounds like a real tool and you will have to facilitate the changes, but you will be better off and as for the relationships that are all tangled up in this? That is their issue. Just because your other friends get on OK with her, does not meant that you two have to walk around pretending to be OK with each other. I hope you stand up for what is right here and get away from her.
Sincerely,

You shouldn't need to argue. It is your right to be able to get along and feel comfortable with those you live with and are around you. I don't know why you can't move out because that is the best, if not only answer.
