Google (or Yahoo) is your friend. There are a lot of videos and websites that can help saved your bad pixels by flashing solid colors on your screen. These do work a lot of the time. Search for "dead pixel video" or "LCD saver". I'm sure you can find it.

How old is that LCD screen? I guess it's out of warranty or else you would have taken it in. And I know that there are a lot of companies out there that won't even take in an LCD screen if there is only one dead pixel, you have to have like 3 or 4 before they will take it in.
You said that you couldn't afford a new monitor right now. How about purchasing a used flat screen CRT? I know that in my area (Pomona, CA), the used 21" flat screens run $60 or less which means the 19", 17" should be around $40 - $50.
This would work great if you have a desktop, but if you have a laptop, I don't think you'd like to lug that thing around. You can just use that monitor as your desktop monitor and plug it into the back of the laptop if that's the case.

There is nothing you can do about it, to fix a laptop you need to replace the LCD, on a laptop that is very expensive, you would be better off buying a new laptop. If it is an ordinary LCD monitor, your on choice is to buy a new one.

Just google software fix for missing or frozen pixels instead of buying a new one. That should help.

I can't believe the leviathan actually uses a laptop. Or is it an LCD monitor? Ok, I can believe that I guess.
There's no way to get rid of it without getting it fixed $$$.

not much you can do about it....some places will let you return it if it has dead pixels (or a certain number of them). But this is usually within a short time after purchase...
So uhhh...ignore it I guess
