I have a tea cup Chihuahua and a Guinea pig....?

My Chihuahua is a very good gentle dog When I give my guinea pig floor time and my chihuahua is around my guinea pig starts pop corning. I've read that when guinea pig jump like that is because they are happy but in this case I don't know if she is happy or afraid. (My chihuahua is almost as big as the guine pig)

Guinea pigs do not popcorn if they're afraid. Most guinea pigs are not naturally afraid of other animals to some extent. Our 15 lb cat doesn't frighten them in the least.
