Yes in the term of the good. Most of the soldiers are in support of the Iraq war, because they're actual AMERICANS!!!
They act like americans and will die for our country, think of it this way, the military is 100% voluntary.
It's a very small handful that don't support the war.

You guys are either blind & deaf or in denial. From what I see on every news channel, Fox, Cnn, MSNBC ETC ETC, the troops are always talking about how they love what they are doing and are complaining that not enough good news coverage comes out of Iraq.
Actually, I rarely here a GI in Iraq complaining about their mission. If you want that you normally have to go out on the web and search for it.
Just another example of how media perception has duped dumb people into thinking something is happening that's not. LOL!

Without a doubt!

They (Bushians) have their little speeches given by the occasional troop. They are scripted and direct. There are plenty in the theater that would speak out if given the chance. They see the propaganda machine in Iraq. The fabricated stories on the rebuilding process and the constant bombardment of democracy fuel.

There are as many digruntled troops as there are American's. Make no mistake about it. You have to be realistic. They were sent in short handed and have had to serve on many long rotations. They were sent in without the correct shielding on transports as well as bad body armor. They are no longer fighting terror because of 9/11 which is why many enlisted. They are now serving as a police force in the middle of a civil war.

Many I have spoken with can't understand what our Government is doing. It doesn't make any more sense to them than it does the average thinking American.

So your answer is yes, their opinions are being censored at the ultimate level.

"Serve and Shut-up" I believe it is!

If only we hadn't fallen for the old Mushroom Cloud statement.

The liberal biased media hates the military.

Look at what this evil man said.........

Evidently, far too many in uniform believe that they are the one true nation. They hide behind the constitution and the flag and then spew an anti-Democrat, anti-liberal, anti-journalism, anti-dissent, and anti-citizen message that reflects a certain contempt for the American people.

I would say yes. I think the media is showing the bad without the good. I have friends who have been deployed, and I've seen literally hundreds of pictures of smiling, happy Iraqis interacting with US soldiers, carrying signs that say, "thank you" and waving US flags. Have you seen that in the LA Times or on CNN?

Media not doing any body any favors.. How much did you see of last Saturdays demonstration, with some soldiers speaking out against the invasion. Its not a war.

Most of the soldiers are self censoring. You are asking for trouble if you are in the military and speak out against any policy of the Commander in Chief.

No, soldiers are not censored by the media, we are being censored by our commanders. When you enlist into the military you are more or less giving up your constitutional rights, and are subject to the UCMJ (uniform code of military justice) during your time in service. When you are in the military, you are government property.

The media only covers people who are against the war.

Since day one!

One of my good friends lives in Morrocco and he see's both channels.

We report "a helicopter was shot down and ten men died"

He see's "Americans over shot a building and blew up a gas station killing 30 innocent people."

We see "Americans took down a terrorist stronghold where 30 terrorists were held up in a gas station, and an American helicopter was shot down..............In other news, Hillary Clinton says she will begin a campaign to research her ability to run for president."

And they go right over it like it was yesterdays news.......
