my gf needs something at this store here in chicago. should i feel awkward about going in there because there are pretty much only females or gay guys in there. i usually buy most of that kind of stuff offline. should i feel awkward about it?

i agree with richard. and if u are really not feeling it when you get close to the register and call your girlfriend and pretend like youre asking her if you got the right thing, just to confirm that you are not gay. good luck

Seriously though, it doesn't matter who shops there. No one else in the store cares that you are looking for things there. If you find yourself still awkward and trying to muster up the courage to go into the store, remind yourself that you are doing something nice for your girl and that she appreciates it. I know I love it when my bf brings something nice from the bath store or from Victorias Secret :) I know he doesn't like to shop that kind of stuff. So I know he's put in a lot of effort when when he does something like that.

Grow up. A real man goes where he wants to go and doesn't care who thinks what about it. Most of the guys in there are not gay, they're just other men doing the same thing you're doing. And if they're gay, who cares? They're not there to molest you..
