Have a big garage sell and get rid of everything you don't need or want and then load it up and move on.There really is no easy way. It's always hard moving.I hate it but with my job, I have to do it all the time.

If you have big bucks you can hire a mover to come and pack everything, move it and unpack it. I can only dream..........
Start going through everything you own: keep, toss, give to charity, garage sale (if you wish). Pack away stuff you won't need for many months. Then pack stuff you won't need for awhile. Much of the kitchen can be packed except for the bare essentials for a week or two. Same with the bath and closets.
Then at the last minute you can gather everything up, pack and move. Leave out cleaning stuff so you can clean up and vacuum as you leave.
I prefer to do the move all at once. If you have friends who will help haul boxes and furniture and have trucks, great. Otherwise you'll have to investigate movers. If you are going with a mover...get rid of everything you aren't taking but don't pack what you are taking. They need to see it to give you an estimate. Discuss who will pack the dishes, lamps, mirrors, mattresses, etc. The more more they do the more it costs.
When you arrive, it is nice to sleep in a motel away from the clutter, but having been ripped off when we moved here, I no won't leave the house even if it means sleeping on a couch.

There is no easy way! But being organized and having a sound plan makes it as painless as it could be, being a navy brat and having moved every 1 1/2 years when I was growing up we moves all the time. Have a yard sale to get rid of unwanted and excess items. Then have each room labled well on the boxes. Pack one day, label and stack boxes to be ready the next day, then load and move boxes to new location, remember to take your time and not overwhelm yourself. Unpack a room at a time.

The easiest-------well, you could put a sign on the house saying "Moving, please take what you want. Free stuff." It is never easy to move, it changes your life so much. If you have the money, it is easier to hire a moving company. They come into the house and pack everything up and move it. They will even set up all your stuff in the new place. Easy enough??

Sell or give away everything you have not used in the last 6 months. Hire some day workers to work under your supervision, and when it is over have a cold one or 12.
