go to the manufactures website and just download the drivers that you need...

Well, you can go to the website for your printer's manufacturer and download the driver for that particular printer. Another possible solution is to try to repair the scratched up CD by using the brass polisher called "Brasso". It comes in a can, and is the consistency of a thick soup. Rub it onto the disc from the hole out to the rim (not in a circular pattern), and then use a clean soft cloth to go in the same direction to polish it. Then try the CD again. This often works. Assuming you mean the CD that contains your printer driver, try visiting the printer manufacturer's website. It's likely that you'll just be able to download a new driver and go from there. Another possibility is googling the name of your printer and "driver." You may be able to download a driver from a third party.

You could look for a generic driver for a printer that might work with your printer, and copy it on another cd.

try to find the drivers for it on the printer company's website. if you cant find them on there they may be on a random driver- specific website.
