Disney pins(badges) are collected and put on lanyards it is very popular in the usa, what u do is walk around the theme parks with you lanyard on andi f u have a double of any pins u can exchange them with the seller on the stalls but only for the ones that they are wearing on their lanyards not the one that they are selling. it can be fun for some it up to the individual, u can buy most pins and lanyard on ebay

they cost about 7-15 bucks each
you can trade with some people in the park but usually they are not so good

collect them I don;t know what for they are only valuable if you collect them from the beginning in the original packing
