when we turn the PS3 on, sometimes the background is black and sometimes its yellow.................by turning it on i mean RIGHT when we turn it on...........and the PLAYSTATION 3 menu comes on...........
why is it sometimes yellow and sometimes its black?????

if is day time, then it will be a bright background and if is late at night, then it will get as dark as black. see for yourself by playing with the time under settings.

Well, I don't have one (:-(, but it moght be because it just came out and it might be a problem with it since it is one of the first ones made. The best thing to do would be to contact Sony(go to playstation. com and look for something that says help or contact or support). Who knows, they might even send you a new one. And if they do PLEASE ship me the old one. I'll pay shipping. Just to make shure we're cool, I'll give you the link to contact them. The background color changes every month, and from the above replyer, it looks like it changes during the day as well.
