You walk into a restaurant and make a joke with one of the waiters that is there. Later that day the waiter approaches you and asks you some questions, where are you from?, what is your name?, what school did you go to?, and how old are you?. When asked what is your name you give your nickname, they reply what is your real name, you say something (it is unclear whether you gave a real name or not, but anyway that really doesn't matter) The next day you are sitting at a table in a location of a building that very few people pass, then the waiter walks pass sees you, and try his very best to avoid looking at you. What would you think if of this situation.

I can not fairly answer your question. I wouldn't tell that person my age!!! I would of started to ask that person after a few questions if they knew me, if they didn't I would ask them politely why they want to know? Just by reading what you wrote, doesn't tell me what their tone of voice was when they asked you, what about their eye movement and their body language when they asked you those questions. As for the waiter walking passed you doesn't mean they ignored you, cause I know for myself that if my mind is thinking of something else at that time, I really don't see what I see. They might of looked at you, but their mind was someplace else. Then again they might of been ignoring you...who knows...only the waiter.
