OK clam down i have gym too and all ready had my period for the 1st in gym and getting ready to start again this is what you do buy black underwear and were a pair under the black one to avoid leaks and change in school bathroom in locker room (if you dont were pe unifonm then were dark if you dont then were dark it olny be a cople of points

ok when i first got mines my mom said to put the pad on and get toilet tissue and make a long enough layer to completely cover the pad and roll it out untill you get the amount that you think is enough. put the layers of toilet paper on your............. like a pad then pull your underwear up.soooooo........ when you bleed it will first get the paper dirty then it will go to the pad. by the time the paper is dirty it should be time to go to the bathroom anyways i hope i didnt confuse you because kind of confused my self..... lol if you dont want to try this you can use a tampon but if your a virgin it may hurt.... p.s i started my period when i was eleven and im ninteen now and i still use toilet paper because it dosnt make me feel self consious and i have never bleed out side my pants like some girls do

Ever notice that women around the world still do everything they normally do even when they get their periods lol, it shouldnt stop you from doing gym or anything else you usually do (except maybe sex although some people are okay with that too) But you should not feel restricted by it.

Well, if you're afraid of changing infront of every one during this time, go change in a bathroom stall or sommething. If you want to know about protection, use a pad or tampon. You can take some Midol; it really helps for cramps, bloating and such.

If you don't have to swim then go onto gym. Wear a maxi pad and take some midol or get a note wrote out by your mom that you are sick.

oh god i hate having gym and being on my period.
and we have to run a mile once a week.
our gym shorts are dark which makes me feel better, you should wear sweats if your's are not
wear pads or tampons.

if u have to run like we do have ure mom write a note

My school gym teacher is also a woman. She asks us what days our cycle is and on those days she lets us sit out. Discuss this with your teacher.

just wear a pad or a tampon you shouldnt be embarassed all girls go through it and if you start hurting then tell you gym teacher you need to go to the nurse and if they ask why tell them its personal.

Thin absorbant pad like always ultra wings should help. Get the ones with wings it will help them stay in place. Check your pad before and after gym. They are thin so you barely feel them
