Use shorter songs or buy cd's that can fit more on them. I usually get the cd's that use 80 minutes.

make an mp3 cd...most cd burning programs has this as an option. what happens is the songs are save as a folder by album, artist, genre, whatever you choose. it takes up less space. the only problem is that you need a mp3 cd compatible cd player. most are equipped with the technology now

it depends how long the song is, and the CD is
Ive got some Cd's with as little as 5 songs on it (80 min.)
and others that have 25 songs (80min)

Record it as data rather than music. You can fit a lot more on a cd that way.

By compressing it well. That won't really help though, as the file format will be changed back into a more memory consuming format.
So solution? Just make sure the files aren't too long, or alternativly, get a bigger CD.

It's not the number of songs... it's the total running time. Most will only hold 72 minutes of music.

When you burn on the cd, dont have it as music. Change it to data. Data is smaller than mp3's.
