I feel for you, but what surprises me is that you know all these things when the pregnancy is 8 weeks along.
No one ever measured my baby or monitored my baby's heartbeat until I was 12 weeks along and that's only because I paid for a private scan. On the NHS I would have waited until 15 weeks to have such measurements done.
Maybe you are just getting too much information too early and causing undue stress as a result.

Do you mean 8 weeks till the due date or 8 weeks gestation? Because they will get you completely different answers.

If the former, obviously you should be in consultation with a "high risk" birth professional, and not seeking advice on the internet. Keep mom calm and well rested is the best we can do here.

If the latter - I hate to have to say it, but a sizable number of pregnancies don't make it past the 8-12 week mark. Thats why 8 weeks is the earliest they advise telling a lot of people, and 12 or more weeks if you have any reason to believe you are high risk. There is little that can be done if there are problems that soon, except again with the staying calm and knowing it doesn't mean there is anything wrong with either of you.

My son started fighting his sleep at around 2 or 3 months so its normal for a 7 week old to do that. Yes she can be spoiled but only if you hold her all the time. If you are only holding her to put her to sleep and awake times to play then its not going to spoil her. Have you tried a pacifier or swing? A 7 week old cant self soothe so no you shouldnt let her cry unless you get too stressed out. Then walk out of the room and go back in after a minute to calm yourself down.

the normal fetal heartbeat is between 120-180 beats per minute..i think if your doctor thought it wasnt normal she/he would say something to you about it...and usually when the heartbeat is slow..u could be having a girl!!! good luck!
