When I load full music albums into my Ipod (1G Nano, not the new style) it rearranges the track order on some albums. Is there a way to keep this from happening?

When you play an album through the Albums or Artists menus, it will play in what it believes to be the original album order. This is determined by the numbers at the beginning of each filename if you dig into the iTunes portion of your My Music folder. If someone screwed up the track order when uploading album data to wherever iTunes gets it from (I had this happen where two track names were transposed, but the actual audio tracks came up in the correct order, and a number of other tracks have had typos), it'll end up landing on your iPod in the wrong order. To order songs in a playlist by perceived album order, pull up the actual playlist in iTunes (not any folder that it might be in, but the playlist itself) and there should be a series of numbers to the left of the track titles. Click the box directly above the numbers (it should turn blue and there should be a little triangle at the right end that points up with the "1" track at the top of the list, or down with the "1" track at the bottom). If the tracks do not sort in the correct album order, you'll have to use the Get Info function to change them (on the right side of the Info tab, there will be a paired set of Track Number fields, which will allow you to change the total number of tracks and which spot the current track fills), or go in and change the filenames manually.

Now, if you have albums set up as individual playlists (useful for playing them on iTunes, but not really necessary for use on the iPod), whatever sort order you have them displayed with in iTunes, that will be the play order that transfers over to the iPod. If you sort the playlist alphabetically, your iPod will play them alphabetically the next time you sync it. Sort it by something else, and that's how it'll play instead. Make sure all of your playlists are sorted the way you want them to play when you sync your iPod, or they'll play in the wrong order.

Try going into the setting and makking sure that the shuffle is turned off. If that does not work take it to an Apple store.
