don't waste your time with the magnet:KEYS ARE NOT MAGNETIC. I work at a hardware store that cuts keys. i just tried, and none of the keys are magnetic. a pick would be the best bet. locksmiths use them for picking locks. it has a narrow end that will go in beside teh key, and the you can hook it ,and ease it out. other wise, it might be time to call a locksmith.
I wouldn't try the super glue, it might jam up the insides of the lock

Most keys are NOT MAGNETIC (brass?) Try a pair of needlenose plyers or the superglue a paperclip to it (Wooden toothpick probably not strong enough to tug on it)

I have used a pick, looks kinda like a screwdriver with the end of a dentists tool for picking at your teeth, available at Most hardware stores.

depending upon where the key broke off, you may be able to use needle nose pliers.
