hi all i bought house in need of alot of work however noticed a large crack that starts at the bottom of the glass room to the roof, however when my servey was done nothing was meantioned can i sue what do i do plzz help

You don't say what country you live in, but if it's England, then you have a right of action against the surveyor who did the survey. He should have noticed and reported on something as important as a crack such as the one you mention. It could be indicative of any number of things, not the least being that the house is subsiding. It may be that you will have to have the crack monitored - they attach glass tell tales to see if they break over time. thus indicating that the crack is moving. See your solicitor and instruct him to write to the surveyors, telling them that you hold them liable and that the case must be passed to their liability insurers, then take it from there.

Sorry dude, your Sh*t out of luck. You should have payed closer attention when you were in the process of buying the house. Additionally, you should have spent a couple of hundred bucks to hire a building inspector to look at the property and give you his professional opinion. Besides, surveys deal primarily with land issues and not actual property on said land. Oh Well, live and learn.

You must go back to the solicitor/survey company ,this is their responsibilty,your solicitor will have to negotiate and the responsibility will fall onto the owner to put the problem right.

get a new surveyor to come in and have a look at it! your better off getting it fixed now than in a few years time when your house is falling to bits. if its really bad, sue the surveyor!

If it was not disclosed during your home inspection you may need to seek legal counsel in order to have the issue rectified.
