when have you ever used just one ketchup packet?

Probably to control waste and costs. Really....to make us get pissed off trying to open the little things!!!!

It's called food cost control. I've never used just one packet.

they're small because the company that makes ketchup wants you or let's say a restaurant to buy more packages so they could make more money. It's all about money.

They were designed for McDonald's tiny single patty and other smaller portion foods. When "supersize" became fashionable, the ketsup folks didn't. I agree with you!
