I was on Depo for about three years. I had a regular cycle about a month after I got off the shot. Then I had nothing for about a year. Then I got a cycle that lasted 2 week. Then I had nothing again 6 month. Then I started having a cycle everyother week. I wasn't with anyone during this time so I knew I wasn't pregnant. My doctor had to put me on birth control. The girl I work with was on it for two years and everything went right back to normal when she came off the shot. I have researched it on the internet but it sounds like everybody is different.

I've researched the shot online before and most women it takes a year to get back their period from the time they last got the shot. So be patient.
I'm not sure how long you've been on it so the time it takes to get your period may vary.
Some women are unable to concieve after taking the shot for years and years. I hope this is not your case though. I wouldn't recommend going back on it, ever. I wish you the best of luck!

On standard it takes as much as a year to be waiting to concieve after taking the shot yet that doesnt advise which you won't be able to get pregnant extraordinarily in case you have already had a era for the reason that being off of it. i grew to become into on the shot for a year it took 6 months for me to get my era and a month later i grew to become into pregnant. wish this facilitates extremely and sturdy success!!

Go see your Dr. I had my last depo almost a year ago and I still haven't been "regular". My doctor has put me on pills to get my period regular then a separate script to make me ovulate.
Good Luck
