I need to know how to get these hats and everything clean. Does anyone have suggestions? I've tried vacuuming them, cleaned them with a damp rag, and after that because I didn't think about it I used canned air. I need to get them clean, and looking white again! They are so pretty when cleaned..

I don't see any reason why you can't just wash them. Fill a big sink with some bizz or something and soak them. Rinse them and allow them to dry flat. If all it is made of is lace, ribbon, straw and silk flowers, that should not hurt any of it. The only thing I would worry about would be glue and that can be repaired.

Spot clean or I know that some dry cleaners have a great way to spot clean items such as these. Call around. I've twisted a few arms to get it done and yes there were beautiful results. If you can remove some of the decorations to be put back on later, that may help. Good luck and I hope you find your answer. Have a great year. They are nice pieces.

They are very pretty. It seems to me that maybe you could put a little bit of cleaner and water in a squirt bottle. Get another squirt bottle with just water and use that to rinse. You could use something like vinegar and water instead of cleaner too. It won't require a rinse. Beware...it will stink, but once the fabric dries, the smell should evaporate! Good Luck! :)

Consult a dry cleaning shop and see what they might be able to suggest. Lace is a very delicate material to clean! Good luck.

well very very nice I must say , you know I don´t think you can . unless you have them dry cleaned , even then this type of lace . It might be a good idea to have someone make them for you . but they are lovely

Hand wash them, just as you'd do with a lace garment.

Don't let them soak, as you may have trouble with the wood swelling, but just getting them wet should cause no problems. The straw hat should also do just find with a little moisture.
