annoying flashing cell phone battery?

I bought a flashing LED battery for my cell phone but it has become very annoying, does anyone know if the the flashing feature can be deactivated in any way?
it has a wire that hangs in the back of my phone, if I detach this will it extinguish the flashing feature?

Get a different battery. If you disconnect that wire, chances are you will ruin the whole thing. I'm sorry it's annoying- but you DID buy the flashing one.
